Directly next to the Clean-Lasersysteme GmbH (cleanLASER) building, about 3,000 m² of new production space for the manufacture of laser systems and machines will be created. This triples the company’s production area. The existing building is redesigned as a research, development and technology center in order to be able to continue production in the future.
The extension building will be constructed according to the latest energy efficiency standards and has modern clean room technology for the production of optical components and laser systems.
Currently almost 100 employees work at cleanLASER in Herzogenrath. “When we acquired the expansion site after receiving the German Environmental Award, nobody could believe that we would use the entire site,” explains Edwin Büchter. “But the demand for laser technology, especially in the field of surface cleaning and processing, continues to grow enormously. Cleaning with light is energy-saving, gentle and extremely precise. No other process can do that.”
