With an output power of 500 watts and state-of-the-art beam source technology from IPG Photonics, the CL 500iM achieves an exceptionally high power-to-output efficiency of up to 30%. Thanks to pure air cooling, the system is significantly smaller, lighter, and more energy-efficient than comparable solutions and virtually maintenance-free—ideal for continuous industrial operation.
The laser generates a soft, partially homogeneous beam that enables gentle yet powerful surface processing.
Mobility and Robust Industrial Design
As a mobile system with hand-guided optics and a seven-meter-long fiber-optic cable, the CL 500iM is ideally suited for flexible indoor and outdoor applications. The fully impact-protected chassis offers lifting options for forklifts and cranes, secure lashing points, and large swivel casters with locking brakes. An ergonomic push handle and well-designed storage solutions ensure comfortable handling during daily operations.
Intuitive operation and high safety
The modern cleanTOUCH operating concept enables intuitive control. Clearly visible status indicators on all sides provide clear information about the operating status at all times.
The CL 500iM can be operated on a single-phase power supply via a standard household outlet. Additional interfaces—including those for emergency stop, interlock, and connection to industrial extraction systems—enhance safety and functionality in daily use.
Designed for reliable continuous operation
The extraction channel integrated into the handpiece optics and the active cooling of the optics ensure safe and stable continuous operation. Maintenance-friendly components allow for quick replacement of protective glass and filters, thereby minimizing downtime.
