For example, thin oxide layers of components can be removed faster than lacquer or paint layers for bonding or contacting.<\/p>\n<p>In general, the removal of layers with a thickness of more than 0.5 mm is uneconomical, especially in combination with large areas of several square meters.<\/p>\n<p>Accessibility can also push the laser process to its limits. Although we have developed techniques and special optics for complex 3D tasks that still achieve good results in apparently unsolvable cleaning requirements, physics cannot be outsmarted.
